Manager only features

I usually play as manager only. Not the GM. I let the team GM make the roster moves, trades, FA signings, etc.

So, it would be great if you could have the ability to choose what your in-game...

I also play with one-pitch mode... but, I switch to pitch-by-pitch when I get a runner on and want to attempt a steal in order to try to steal on a favorable count.

That's my advice.

I don't know if this was or wasn't in 2006 because I didn't play it all that much, but I am really liking the front office page with the +'s and -'s and I also really like the player salaries reports...
