Patch Suggestions?

Ok... I searched to find a patch suggestions file, but I didn't find one. Go figure.

Anyway, here are some initial thoughts:

There should be a browse function for things like setting ballpark pictures and for setting the import player folder, etc.

Anything where a person has to set a directory for something, there should be a browse button for. This would make things a lot simpler for a lot of us.

Also, the set-up options always automatically scroll back to the top of the list every time you make any changes. This is highly annoying and should be fixed.

That's all I've got for now...

It would kind of nice if when you click on depth/lineups it defaulted the first view to batting related stats and when you clicked on pitching it defaulted to a view of pitching related stats or ratings. Its kind of bizarre to check out your lineups and view the batting stats, then click over to your pitchers and see the same batting stats you were viewing were looking at for hitters.

Guys, while I appreciate the thought behind this, I'd really rather see individual suggestions logged in Tech Support. Mind you, you can post them here too if you wish, but we're swamped right now just trying to keep up with all of the new customer questions and tech support questions. If you post your suggestions here, they're less likely to be seen than they would if we logged a ticket about it.

Just a thought.

On that same note, when you click to sort by a particular category, let's say Hits from Batting Stats 1, then you change View to Batting Stats 2, player order is reset and you lose the sort you performed in Batting Stats 1.

Also, why doesn't each View page show the player's age. I'm usually looking for the best talent I can find at the youngest possible age, but I have to go to either the Default view (and lose my sort) or click on each player to see his age.

You can edit (customize) any filter to include age, then save the customized filter using the title of the uncustomized filter. Presto! You now have age in every view, if you want it.

In my reply, you should substitute 'view' for 'filter' everywhere filter appears. However, if you watch the 'Customize Views and Filters' tutorial (shameless plug), you'll learn how to accomplish the same thing by adjusting the filters, so by accident I managed to get it right.

(Nice save, Steve.)
