One-Pitch mode options

I am just thinking that some of the strategy option in-game need to be changed.

For example -- If i'm playing the game in one-pitch mode, "take pitch" should not be an option.

My only options with nobody on should be "swing away" and "bunt for hit." Nothing else.

On the pitching side, "pitch out" should not be an option with nobody on base. Also, I kind of miss having the button options to change my defense with a number key. When I manage games, I typically have my fingers on my number pad, and only use the mouse for changing players on my roster/substitution screen. When i have to use the mouse to change my defensive alignment it just seems to interupt the flow of the game more than I like.

So, here's lobbying for the old "pitch + normal" button and an additional number button for "pitch" which brings you to button options for changing the defense.

It's the little things like this which make playing games out in 6.5 more enjoyable to me. But, I think with some small tweaks this game could be very close to overtaking it on the fun factor scale. I like it, and definitely enjoy it more than 2006 (which i stopped playing after a few weeks), but it needs a few more little tweaks to make me stop playing 6.5.

I am told that these suggestions will be considered for the next full version of the game, presumably because the changes would be too broad for a patch.
