Q&A: How do you take a screenshot of the game?
Q: How do you take a screenshot of the game?
A: Press F12. If it doesn't work, try Fn+F12 (some computers are set up so that the F# keys do what their labels say as opposed to their shortcut function while others are set up to do the opposite). Or maybe you have a PrintScreen key. I've noticed that in-game F12 only captures the field and nothing else while the PrintScreen key captures more, but still not everything. You might have the best success, like me, with a third party program like XnView or Irfanview, both of which are free. Look for their "Capture" tool. They take a bit more effort on your part, but if the easier ways don't capture everything you want, these should. Outside of OOTP another easy way to take a screenshot in Windows is by Shift+Win+S, but that doesn't work inside OOTP. If you take a picture of your screen with your phone, please make sure it's oriented correctly before attaching it. Otherwise, we might have to either rotate our screen or download the image and rotate it ourselves to make it out. You can easily rotate images using your phone or the programs I mentioned above, just google how to do it. Now if you don't know how to attach the image to a post, read this.

Screenshots on a Mac
On a Mac, press Shift-Command-5. A resizable box will appear; you can get the whole screen or any part of it. Then press the "Capture" button to save to your desktop. There's an option to record video, too. (Video can be edited in the QuickTime Player app. Experimentation and practice are recommended.)
