Ever wonder what happened to Derick Grigsby?
Ive wondered what happened to the Astros first round pick in the 2002 draft. If youve been wondering too, here ya go.

this is a terrible thread title for quite an interesting story -- particularly for a guy who is a similar age to grigsby and has dealt with similar emotional issues. it does not, so far as i can tell, have a happy ending, at least not yet -- but i liked the article.

That's some truly serious depression if he's still talking like that with 2 hours with psychotherapists per week and provided he's compliant with his medication. For his sake, I hope he starts making some breakthroughs. I would question whether even if things stabilize a bit for him he'll ever be able to handle the marathon under a microscope that is a major league season. Good luck Derick, baseball or not I hope you stick with the treatment for as long as you need it.
