Did 6.12 fix Win XP Service Pack 2 sound crash?

I would expect it will always be in version 6.xx. Since v7 has been totally rewritten, it won't be an issue after it's released.

I wonder if anybody has sent a message to microshaft, it is probably an easier fix on that end

you would be suprised the response you might get. A bug is a bug it can't just beootp that is having this problem, but it can't get fixed if they don't know.
