Two First time owners looking for a league.
My friend and I are both looking to participate in an online league. We both own the lastest version of OOTP6 and are familiar with the game. Please let us know if you have any possible openings.

Take a look at the KBL: http://kbl-ootp-online.com/home.html
This is a fictional league with a dedicated, reliable and extremely helpful (and easy to reach) commissioner. I believe Sobek, Songhai, Kassala, Kilimanjaro and Amada are currently available. Sobek currently has a 32-22 record and the rest are hovering around .500 ball. If you think the two of you might like the fictional setting of the league, I don't think you could go wrong here. A lot of time and effort has gone into building the history and lore of the league. You will also find a plethora of resources and statistics to compliment the in-game information. Even though there are some current openings in the league, you will find a core of active and friendly GMs to make you feel right at home. |

starting out in 1000? I've never seen a league like that, looks interesting.
If you have a plethora of features, why dont you cut down on some |

I am in the process of starting an 80s OOTP league. It will begin at 1980 with real players and progress using real players. It will be a 28 team league; 14 spots are currently available. If you are interested, e-mail me at bsimpson1974@alltel.net and I can send you more information.
Of the 14 GMs currently signed up, 12 are veterans of various VBL leagues (www.virtualbaseball.org), all of which are/were simmed using Sierra's Front Page Sports Baseball Pro 98. (VBL3 is still active and uses this sim.) VBL4 will be the first to use OOTP. There will be a fantasy draft initially, and we are still debating about scrapping the game's financial system and using the traditional VBL free agency/franchise player system that we have always had success with, but this is still up in the air at the time.
