Very cool! I've always wanted to see someone make a college baseball game!

I'll be buying the college baseball game. However, I wanted to see college hockey in there too. Doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Although it sounds good it'll have no multi-player franchise mode and no pro game to export the players into.

I just see this as a very limited market, though I could be wrong. Personally I have no interest in it.

It's probably going to be another sports game that caters only to the buttom jammers.

The market will be there only because EA is making the game.

I don't know enough about programming to know how they would do it, but the second disk or releasing a patch are options. I just think it's the kind of thing that, if implemented, could cut into Take-Two's venture.

I don't know, the tone of that article sounds more speculative than definitive. Has EA actually announced they will do this?

Hmmm, i wonder how editable MVP 2006 would be...... and perhaps modders could make a pro version out of it?

1. Money, EA has tons of it, if the game does not sell and they lose money then they can eat it with no problems and cancel the series. If the game does ok they can keep making them and build up a base of gamers who will buy the game year to year. 2. They have a good relationship with the NCAA so getting a liscense would be no problem. 3. They have a game engine and nothing to do with it. Why not make use of it adapting it to an untapped sport? 4. They have the people already with three baseball games under their belt with no current project to work on since they have no MLB anymore. Makes sense to let them work on the exact same sport. 5. Advertising. EA is good at it and has loads of cash. If they think there is even a slight chance of sucess then they will make the game and market it. 6. Me. I have e-mailed them like 15 times on the matter over the years. I think they are starting to break

With the Xbox version, I would think they would be able to export it to a season of choice for MVP 2005 and just overwrite the Draft Class (like OOTP does it).
