Need 2 for OOTP5 Fictional/Historic

The ELSA (http://www.theelsa.com/) is almost through the 1947 regular season. The league layout mimics the old Eastern League and Southern Association minor leagues of the 1940's. We use fictional players in a real historical setting. We use OOTP5, but if you have OOTP6, you can view our league file and make changes to your squad via E-mail. Most transactions are completed on the message boards anyway. This is our 3rd human controlled season.

The scaled down salary structure is unique, but proving to be successful for the different dynamics introduced into the GM decision making process. The minimum salary is 50K and the market is being shaped by human factors and the way they value certain players.

The two opening at this time are Birmingham and Binghamton.
They offer two distinctly different challenges for prospective GM's.

Birmingham is 74-46, 4.5 games behind Nashville in the Southern Association. The top two teams in each league make the playoffs and they have a 11.5 game lead on 3rd place New Orleans. There are only 20 games left to play so they will almost certainly be participating in post-season. They are in dire need of a manager to steer them during the playoffs.

Binghamton is 54-65 and sit in 6th place in the Eastern League 19.5 games behind Scranton. They are way over budget this season and need someone who will implement a solid rebuild.

Please contact me at rjw8625@rochester.rr.com if interested.

bump

Birmingham is now 78-49 and 11.5 games ahead of 3rd place New Orleans for the last playoff spot.

Binghamton is 56-70, still in 6th.

Mobile has also come available. They are 59-68 in 7th place in the Southern Association. They have the 7th best minor league system and a lot of young players already making an impact.
