Crash during sim

Simming 15 days (in an olnine league), game crashed about ½ way though the sim

Opened it back up, continued sim, game crashed on the 14th (of 15 days trying to sim)

Opened it back up, simmed the final day

I did not happen to notice at the time, the player stats seem to have disappeared for the days that were simmed when the game crashed.
So now, all player pages show the game log for the 15th of the month, and the 30th of the month, but nothing in-between

The Game Logs, Breaking News, etc are correct, it seem the only thing missing is player stats for those 14 days.

Running (at time of sim):
Windows XP Pro with latest win updates
Norton anti-virus
OOTP 6.12

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check to make sure ALL lineups and pitching rotations were filled out properly? and that no injured players were scheduled to start? or one player listed twice in any line up? All could cause a crash.

Yes.

For one, if that was the case, then when I went back in, it would crash again, and never let me past that game.

When I reopened the game, and continued to sim each time, I never made any changes to any teams, etc...

Did you back up your league file? I mean before the sims you mentioned?

I do have a backu-p somewhere, however I'd prefer not to redo the sim if possible.

This is an online league, and it would cause some issues potentially.

Basically I am curious why it happend, so I can be sure to avoid it in the future, and if there is any way to reover that lost player data, since the box scores, team records, etc are all there.
