Box Scores Help

Hi, I run a league, but some members have asked me if I could add the teams logo to the Box Scores. How do I get the logos in the box scores?

The only way, I think is to individually edit the html on each file. WAAAYY Toooo much work. Maybe OOTP6.5 will have this fixed?

I am working on a utility to do this, it will be part of my Anderson Utilities. See the thread for details on the program as it is now.

The routine would rewrite all of the box score files. Of course you would run the routine before you uploaded to the server.

Stay tuned for details.

I did it. If you download the latest version of my program, under BOX SCORES, there is a button to fix the box scores. It takes about a minute to do all of them.

It reads in the box scores and removes the local reference and re-writes the file. So, what you do, when you are ready to upload the information after generating the LEAGUE SITE files, run my program and fix em.

The absolutely easiest way to fix this is to ensure that EVERYONE in your league installed OOTP to the same folder (default works best). And then make sure that each and every person has the league logos on their home machine.

OOTP hard codes the local placement of the logos into the HTML, so if someone installs in a strange directory, it will break the logos for everyone else for all games simmed by that person. It really should have been a "relative" link to those images.

Or you can run my program on your box scores and let it modify the box scores to change them to relative links.

Hey Larry, I got an error and couldn't get your utility to start up. I installed as per instructions. Anything I'm missing here?
