Post Opening Night Chat!

Is anyone else dying of anticipation for Opening Day? Not long now. I thought it would be fun to have a chat during the Opening Night Indians-Angels game on ESPN. I'll probably hit the chat room when Baseball Tonight starts at 7 EST.

See you there!

Is anyone else upset that the Reds no longer open the season? There are so many traditions that Selig has mucked with, and this was one of the good ones in my opinion.

I agree it seems like Seeing the Reds play on opening day was the signal for spring to really begin. Personally it seems like there was no real reason to change from having the 1st game of the season start in the city ofwhat is considered the 1st professional baseball team.
On the same note I will try my best to join in on the chat for opening day, decked out in my Black and Gold and dreaming of happier days gone by for my beloved Bucs.

Can't attend the chat since I'll be AT the Angels opening game Sunday night

Nothing beats Diamond Club seats, people waiting on you for your food, preferred parking, directly behind home plate about 9 rows back... Oh and preferred parking. The only thing I can think of that beats that would be to get it all for free. Thank goodness for vendors and their free tickets.

Agreed that it doesn't seem right for the Reds to not be the opening game any longer. It was nice to know that there were certain things you could rely on, but not anymore I guess.

Yep, I'm counting the hours till Dodgers opening on Tuesday. Field level, 7 rows back from 1st base, it's gonna be great

It looks like the game will be on ESPN2. This sucks considering I don't get that station. Women's NCAA tournament will be on ESPN. Personally I think this should be flip flopped.
