USBBL openings? Sure!

The 20-team USBBL is on the lookout for 3 experienced / dedicated GM's for the start of our 10th season.

The USBBL is a fictional league running OOTP V6.12, currently at the end of the 2012 season, and we sim 3 times a week / 15 days per sim. The league has been running under the original management since 2003 (IRL and sim-wise), with several of the original owners still kicking around.

If you like a reasonably fast-paced sim schedule, this might be the league for you!

We feature:

4 divisions of 5 teams per
Fictional (USA cities) teams / players
3 sims/wk (late Sunday, late Tuesday, late Thurs) @ 15 days per sim
No DH
Interleague play
Mandatory articles (very limited frequency - usually one team per sim)
Trash talkin', good natured, eclectic mix of GM's

The teams we are looking to fill are:

New Orleans Lynx - expansion team from 2009, has not had a season under 100 losses. Needs a dedicated GM that will actually put the time in. Has a 2B threatening the vaunted .400 mark.
Boston Patriots - Champs just 3 seasons ago, the Boston team still has a fair amount of talent, though age/FA are problems now. Should get a good draft pick though!

Detroit Diesels - 3 time Champs, currently deadlocked in 3rd place

Turning a team around is not nearly as hard as it looks. My team, the Las Vegas Gamblers, suffered through 7 straight losing seasons before I took them over and brought them to the WS in one year. It can happen. Can you do it?

I've been an owner in this league for 4 seasons now. It's a very entertaining league with a vocal message board.

This is my first season in the league, and let me tell you, it's a blast. If you'd like to build your own team, take on New Orleans. They have a guy who is currently hitting .408 I believe, and a pretty good farm system. The other teams are good too, and either way, it's a blast!

Im the commissioner of the USBBL. Weve been around for 10 seasons now and have no signs of slowing down. We pride ourselves on paying attention to the history of our league and creating a friendly and active community.

This is a great group of owners and I'd love to have you on board if you can export when you need to, stay active on our forums, and enjoy yourselves.

Better enjoy it while you can...

The Patriots will be re-tooled this offseason.

I'm not even sure if re-tooling will help that club actually.... lol
