ECBL - New Talent Only League

Are you looking for a fun league to join, a league that will feel less like a job but more like a pleasant past time then the ECBL is for you. We are a new league that is looking for a group of GM’s that are both competitive but also looking for a group to chat and have a good time. In order to help things speed along, we’ve developed an online drafting tool as well as a FA tool to speed things along. We’re also working on a few other tips and tricks to make things flow faster.

Here’s a brief description of the league.

Premise:
Millions of Americans fled the nuclear wasteland in that had been their home in 2015 and returned to their respective motherlands. The long ground war against China had sapped the Americas of much of their manpower and when China decided to go nuclear, things got really ugly. In 2016 the war ended with the dissolution of all governments in the Americas and the utter destruction of mainland China. The refugees from the United States needed a form of entertainment that reminded them of the purer days of freedom. Between the years of 2015 and 2016, nascent leagues started by refugees from what was the United States began to form across Europe. In 2020, the ageless Botox’ed media mogul Ted Turner started yet another television station where he also set out some time for baseball games to be shown. With free air time for a few seasons, and a built in population nostalgic for the "pure" game played in the West, a few soccer clubs rose to the challenge and started baseball teams. So far teams have struggled to find quality players, coaches, and even grounds crews. Still Turner persists and actually incorporated the ECBL (European Champions Baseball League) by taking the best or most supported teams and turning them into a super league. The lesser teams were turned into a minor league system and every available player was lumped into a giant draft. And so starts the ECBL...

Rookie owners welcome as well! Good place to get your feet wet in a new league without a whole lot of pressure.

the draft tool these guys created is really awesome, and the amount of time that they put into it is telling of their dedication. i think this will be a really good league if we can get it filled up.

Sounds interesting....

Any particular reason why Waivers are turned off?

Whats the status of Minor League FA and the Rule V draft?

I wanted the league to be a little more low key when it came to exports. With waivers you pretty much have to export every sim which I didn't want owners to have to do. I was more interested in them having a good time and writing smack about each other instead.

:)

I'm assuming by the lack of response that the Rule V draft and minor league FA are both turned off as well?
