Restore League

In my league that I started a few months ago (3/30/2004), I am now up to 4/22/2010. OOTP was open and I pressed Quit Game and it was Saving League - about 200x slower than usual. A minute before that, I was in the League Folder and I clicked the Players notepad (67K MB) and it wasn't responding so I clicked x over and over, then Ctl-Alt-Delete and it said it wasn't responding. I was sick of the OOTP game so slow, I just shut off the computer. I turned it back on, opened OOTP6 and i got to my league. I press my team. Program Error Don't Send or Send Error Report thing. I also see there is no league leaders. Then I check the league folder. The Player file notepad is nothing - 0 MB. blank. So now I've figured out all of the players have been deleted. Since then, I've started a new league and OOTP6 is working just fine. Recently, I backed up the league file at 6/1/2009 (nearly a year ago). Would pressing Open > Restore League have it go back to the last time I backed it up?

I had a hard time following what you were asking though seems you were talking about 2 leagues? But to make sure I understand.. The game locked up when you were quiting the game and it was saving? When you came back your league was corrupted? So now you want to restore it from the last backup (league date 6/1/2009)? If thats the case the answer is yes.

A suggestion though to make life easier for you. I always backup at the start of a season and at the end. At least then you wont lose that much data if your league file gets corrupted.
