Restore League
In my league that I started a few months ago (3/30/2004), I am now up to 4/22/2010. OOTP was open and I pressed Quit Game and it was Saving League - about 200x slower than usual. A minute before that, I was in the League Folder and I clicked the Players notepad (67K MB) and it wasn't responding so I clicked x over and over, then Ctl-Alt-Delete and it said it wasn't responding. I was sick of the OOTP game so slow, I just shut off the computer. I turned it back on, opened OOTP6 and i got to my league. I press my team. Program Error Don't Send or Send Error Report thing. I also see there is no league leaders. Then I check the league folder. The Player file notepad is nothing - 0 MB. blank. So now I've figured out all of the players have been deleted. Since then, I've started a new league and OOTP6 is working just fine. Recently, I backed up the league file at 6/1/2009 (nearly a year ago). Would pressing Open > Restore League have it go back to the last time I backed it up?

A suggestion though to make life easier for you. I always backup at the start of a season and at the end. At least then you wont lose that much data if your league file gets corrupted. |
