Web Designer for Hire.

Greetings. I have been thinking about creating up a league for some of my friends to enjoy, and after much thought i am going to give it a go. I have purchsed web space, and gotten a domain name. I am now in the market for someone to set up my web page. I will offer the going rate for a web designers time and effort. If your talented at desiging League web sites, and looking to earn some extra cash, let me know. I can be reached threw PM or IM on AOL at FenwaysFinest84.

More details can be dicussed if someone steps up.

thanks.

I am not 100% sure. But i do know that i had Christina Lambert design a few sites for me and she charged $50 for it. not sure how long it took though...

What is the going rate... do you know?

How long would it take you to complete a web design like this?

Of course it would have to be alittle different, and i would switch the colors up. but basically thats the format and concept i would like..

I could probably do something like that in an afternoon.

It's really not that hard.

So what would be your bottom line price? Or do you charge per hour?

I dont think anyone asked for your opinon. And if i had the ability to do it myself, i would. It would come out much better if someone who is more expierenced at it then i did it. So yes, i am willing to pay some money for someone to do this. So, move along i really couldnt be less affected by your comments.

GBC or CC, let me know if your up for it.

yea, people will pay for anything these days, rather than take 2 minutes to learn themselves.

Wow, relax people. If he wants a well done designed webpage, and wants to pay someone, let it be. It's not like he's looking for free and nobody's offering.

Isn't that why we all have jobs, so we can pay to have people do the things we don't care to do? I'm sure it wouldn't take me long to be trained in how to make a Big Mac but I'd sooner pay someone to do it for me.

Especially when they are a clueless idiot. You can't build that website in frontpage. The front page, articles, export tracker (which is mine), and forums are all in php.

Building something that looks like this would take an afternoon, but building something that works like this would take a bit longer.

BW - when you purchased you webspace did you make sure to purchase webspace from someone who supports php and a database (mySQL typically)? If not and you want this, you'll need more than just someone to host HTML.

According to the source code, it was built in Front Page.

Also, that looks like a template. Is it?

i'll second this. i've went to do a site for folks and realize onc I start that they dont have anything more complex than what geocities offer. Trying to explain why they need to pony up more dough to get this is an excersize in migraine creation.

Myself I could see it taking around two weeks or so myself, but I'm also not able to do it full time so my extimate could be way off.
