Not sure if this has been noted in previous messages but what do you guys think is a competitive salary cap for a 30 team league? Thanks for your input...

I'd say 75 to 85 million.

I would say 60.
With 75 to 80 I think you're beyond what you would need to spend to make a team extremely competitive. In OOTP3, I had a "house cap" set at 60 for years and years and never ran into problems with building a contender with it. Just my opinion. Glen

OK, question as I ran away from the cap issue (set to 0).
I used Rolen's set (NICE WORK Rolen)I was afraid of making some stupid decision that would cause half the teams to disband. I am from NY so I know the Mets are at 102 mill and only the Baseball Gods know what the Yanks are so I presume these numbers above are for fantasy leagues? If I put 75 mil in for the real life teams would be disbanding before opening day.... |
