CubbyFan Rosters Updated (4/5)
Updated with injuries / transactions as of April 5, 2005... again, all the same features as the last release... hope to have these out every 3-4 days or so. Enjoy and PLEASE comment on these if you can, that's the only way I know people are downloading and enjoying so I know if its worth my time.
There's a statistical screwup on Tanyon Sturtze's career stats that I haven't fixed, and still have yet to adjust the top prospects to what they are for 2005 for some teams in the NL, so keep that in mind. http://www.nibabaseball.com/CubbyFan_4_5.zip |

Is anyone using these at all? Not sure if I should continue to spend time as it seems interest is minimal.

I was goin to try your rosters out, but I want to use them in conjunction with Eriq's pack which has logo's, stadium's and player photo's with an Almanac.
I think you two should get together and see if he will do the same for your roster set. I don't see the problem with having two "all in one" 2005 sets. |

I've tried them out. They seem quite good, aside from the annoying 2004 stat bug that a lot of sets are suffering from this year.
Keep up the good work. I appreciate the work of all of the modders out there, as are most people, I'm sure. |

Cubby, I do believe a number of people are using them. One of the leagues just starting I know simmed a number of years out with yours as well as the other major ones and felt your set simmed the best. It's all personal preference though. If you're enjoying the set and continue posting it for others to use, believe me, we all appreciate it. Keep up the good work! And go CUBS!

Cubby, you will feel the wrath when the new OOTP comes out and MANY will be screaming for the real rosters the moment they get the game!
Thanks for the work you put into the game. |

I have been using you roster set now for the last couple hours. Looks very good.
I do think Bernie Williams' OF range might be a little low, though... |

Cubby
why do some sets have previous year blank while others have them filled in? |

The other guys got theirs done first and couldn't figure out how to erase the previous year stats I believe... it took me a whole day of work to get it done, but I figured out a workaround (which honestly I can't remember how I did now, but I know it was a huge pain in the butt)... thus I guess one set has "fake" stats, one has blank stats.

On a side note, I'm working on a new roster file for today with full (and correct) Top 10 Prospects for each team, evening out the Top 100 might be a bit more tough but I'll work on it. Release tonight should have all roster moves / injuries / DL moves as of today too.
How would you guys like to see moves handled post April or so? I always think its wierd to see a file with moves made in April that were made in MLB in June... I'm thinking about making two files, one which does that, and one where I just edit ratings after the rosters are finalized in the end of April or so and try to get players as accurate as possible depending on how they are playing this year. On a side note part deux, finally getting started on working on the player histories. Going to e-mail Marcus to find out if the same format is going to be used in OOTP 7 as this will be HUGE if I can get them all finished, and would hate to see them not be able to be used in v7.

If you could, add Ben Weber to the Reds, he was missing in the first set. Looks like a great roster set, appreciate the work. |
