A Different Type of logo Request

This is a bit of a different logo request, but since all the members here do great work with their baseball logos, I figured I've give it a shot asking around here for some help. My math class in school was entered into a contest with another class at school for who could design the best math logo.

The theme of the contest is Ratio & Proportion. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, I provided a brief description in the next few lines about ratio and proportion. A "ratio" is just a comparison between two different things. For instance, someone can look at a group of people, count noses, and refer to the "ratio of men to women" in the group. Suppose there are thirty-five people, fifteen of whom are men. Then the ratio of men to women is 15 to 20.

A proportion is two ratios that are equal to each other; a proportion is an equation that can be solved. When I say that a proportion is two ratios that are equal to each other, I mean this in the sense of two fractions being equal to each other. For instance, 5/10 equals 1/2.

I have already come up with an idea for one of them, where you could do a persons head over their body, with the \ in-between and say this is equal to a picture of a whole person. I have not come up with an idea for the other yet, so ideas are definitely welcomed.

The shape of the button is 2.5 inches in diameter, but if you can just design the logo, I can then just print it out and put it in the circle they gave us.

Thanks for the help guys, if anyone can come up with ANYTHING, I'd greatly appreciate it.
