OOTP6 Pitchers and # of pitches

First off.. I am rather new to OOTP but I have to say what a great and very addicting baseball game. I am getting the hang of the game rather nicely, I have been playing Diamond Mind for several years now and wanted something more then just a replay game. Ok Ok.. now the question..

All the pitchers have endurance ratings.. but is there an expected amount of pitches for each rating..

EG.. if a starter has a endurance rating of 5 (the max) does this mean he is good for better then 100 pitches in a game? Also the game shows you how many pitches relievers have thrown in the past days.. does he hit a point where he can't pitch for a few days depending on his endurance rating..
Or do we just look at his status to know when to use him..

Hope I am making sense here.. its a bit different in DMB.

Yeah, the way to tell whether to use a pitcher or not is if he's tired, if he is tired, his name will be yellow. You can use a yellow pitcher, but, you raise the risk of injury pitching him when he's tired.

I'm not sure there is a list for OOTP 6 for endurance rating and how many pitchers it means.

I just look at a reliever's status to know when to use him. As far as I know, every pitcher suffers the same negative effects when tired, regardless of his endurance.

Good starters will originally show tired after three days rest but will show "OK" when pitching in the game. Obviously they have less in the tank later in the short rest game, but the real studs can usually do well. I've read in other threads that the weather conditions affect endurance, ie hot weather less stamina etc.

There is a guide somewhere out there (OOTP5 manual??) , I did a search and found a list with suggested pitch counts per game and over 5 days.

e.g 5 endurance SP 130 (240)
4 endurance 120 (220)
If I remember where I saw it I'll post it.

I had a game last night against a team in the playoffs who threw a tired pitcher at me. Got me to wondering why they guy didn't show red during the game if he came into the game tired, and why a 7 endurance pitcher (current era) who threw 96 pitches just 4 days ago wouldn't go red until he threw 105 pitches in this game. And what effects does a guy already tired going suffer when he goes red in the game?
