Solved one ballpark problem but created another-help!

Have downloaded CTC fictional stadiums.Unzipped them into a folder named CTC in graphics. Moved Park and config files to league folder. Assigned each of my fictional teams a CTC home park but the field screen just shows as black. This is driving me nuts, what am I doing wrong!!!!!!????? Help please.

Go into league setup and make sure in the stadium editor(Edit Ballpark on lower right hand side of Basic Setup screen) that the in game field pictures are set to the directory that you have files in. You have to do this for each stadium. In your case it would be

CTC\fieldname.bmp

I think this may fix your problem

Thanks for a prompt response but as soon as the "please enter" box appears everything freezes no matter what information I type in. This same problem has occurred on two different machines on two installations. Perhaps I'll just have to go back to the default image(without any sound!!). Shame

Your somehow doing something wrong - this works for everyone else

Try setting things back to defaults. Once that is working, place your ballpark images in the graphics folder (no subdirectory). Make SURE they are BMPs. Go to the ballpark editor, create a ballpark and assign the image. Make sure it show up ok using the "test" button. Then go to the team setup screen and set the home ballpark to the one you just created.

Thanks Big City. Tried that but no luck. As soon as I open the "please enter " box the game freezes and I can't even close that box. I've e-mailed OOTP direct and I'll keep trying but the Single Malt is beckoning!!!

Chaps, thanks for all your suggestions. I think I've sorted it out. As a newcomer to OOTP the responses to my beginners queries have encouraged me to persevere with the game. Cheers!!!
