MVP 2005 Ballparks now available!
They're not all that different from Ankit's MVP 2004 set, but they're taken from MVP 2005, which means RFK Stadium!
You get your choice of Day: ![]() or Night: ![]() Also a selection of Classic Parks: ![]() ...and Minor League & Spring Training Parks: ![]() You can download it here! Thanks to JoeRockEHF for hosting this for me! |

Eric, the pictures are outstanding as usual!
But can you please please please make the park, parkconfig and weather DAT files? I can't figure out how to adjust them. Thanks! |

Thanks eriqjaffe, looks good. Hopefully it's ok, but I've been working on mvp2005 set to release as well. It's taking a little longer than expected because getting the correct camera angles has been tougher than I thought it would be. But as long as no one minds, I'll probably release a set or two sometime close to opening day. Here are the two angles I have so far. Still trying to decide on the best angle however, so it may change some. I'm also waiting on as many stadium mods as possible (real ads), but those can also be updated later on.

I think both angles look great edm. I like the more top down one more for myself but both are looking good. Maybe do a set of each since the angles are so different?

Definately the CB angle, but you'll have to drop the picture down a bit to leave room for the catcher box below home plate.

If you get a chance I'd be curious to know exactly which classic parks are included. Thanks!

edm: The more the merrier!
GuamYankee: The classic parks are The Astrodome, Cinergy Field, Cleveland Stadium, Crosley Field, Fenway Park, Forbes Field, Griffith Stadium, Metropolitan Stadium, Stade Olympique, Polo Grounds, Qualcomm Stadium, Shibe Park, Sportsman's Park, Tiger Stadium and Veterans Stadium. Why the folks at EA decided that Veterans Stadium is a classic (and Ebbets Field and Comiskey Park aren't) is anybody's guess. |

great contribution eriqjaffe.
i'm guessing they decided to put the Vet in there because Philly just moved. But sad to see Ebbets and Old Comiskey weren't included. |

I made a fake season using Ankit's parks and DAT files, then went under "league setup" to "edit ballparks."
From there, change all the file names for each park from ANKIT\Angels.bmp to MVP\anaday.bmp for anaheim's day park (assuming you extracted the parks into a folder called MVP in the Graphics folder). There are two file names to change for each park (in the middle of the screen). Also change the names and weather to your liking (ie The Ballpark in Arlington--> Ameriquest Field in Arlington and Olympic Stadium to RFK Stadium). When you're done with all the modifications, go into the league folder thru Windows Explorer or wherever and the DAT files will be changed to now use Eriq's MVP stadiums. |

I'm guessing the Vet is included because it was the site of the Phillies 1980 WS victory. I'd never say the Vet was a great baseball stadium, but I (and a lot of other Philly fans as well) have a lot of good memories from that dump.

Love the set...one prob, there is no settings for RFK! I dont know where to get such info...so if someone could post them, it would be apprieciated. Your reward will be 40 virgins and a mule.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found them myself cause I realized it ain't that hard...judt traveld to their website and took the weather info from Balitimore.
