Cato not recognizing players winning championships??
I have guys who have played on championship teams and on their cato page it doesn't show up. I noticed it when a team won back to back championships and there was only 1 guy at the top of the championships leaderboard with 2. Anyone know why this is happening?
The league started in the year 2005 and has gone for 4 seasons. The championships were recognized for 05 and 06 and only some of the guys on the 07 and 08 teams got credit, some of the guys were on both teams and it doesn't show up as them ever winning a championship. are the player histories importing correctly? ive had this problem for several seasons now, about 10 seasons in the histories just stopped importing right and only a handful of them are. also the draft history gets screwed as well. I have found no fix other than to just do it manually (which isnt quite as bad as it sounds)

I think we're in the same boat, my draft history messed up this time. As far as I know everything else is fine, just those 2 areas. |

yep thats it. its easy to fix the draft part if you have Access. what I have been doing each year is after my import to my main database I import to a stand alone one that is just that current season. Then you can cut the draft from that year and paste it into your full database. the histories is more complicated and timeconsuming, depending on how import it is to you (im pretty anal about everything being right so I spent the hour+ it takes to do this part heh). All the histories seem to import in the stand alone season so all it takes is for me to pick out all the current years history and past it over to the other database. The easiest way to do this is when looking at the phistory table in access to just delete the year in the last column for all the lines that do not pertain to the year you want, then you can sort them and cut and paste more easily. I havent found an easier way to do this yet but im trying to figure one out. Ofcourse if you just want championships to show up then all you have to do is cut and post those histories from the players who won one (thats only going to be 25 or so each year so that wouldnt be a choice). Ofcourse dont try this at home unless you got your orignal database backed up heh
