Game won't start...

I have no idea why this is happening, but when I click on the OOTP icon to launch the game, nothing happens.

Last time we tried it "quite a while ago", it worked fine. Now it just does nothing.

I have tried running the program file from the directory, and still nothing.

Configuration does come up, but none of the settings seem to help.

I think the only hrdware that has changed on this PC since the last time we ran the game, is the video card.

Any suggestions?

EDIT- This is OOTP6

In XP: Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services. Make sure LicCtrl is enabled.
