Can't Believe It...HELP!

My computer is a 800mghrtz and my 20gig hard drive crashed. Got a nice 80gig now using windows xp. I checked and I have the latest directX. In the course of fixing the hard drive I used both my downloads from elicense. I told them my problem and they re-instated my Order ID#. I downloaded it last night and the writing is where you can't read it. I can tell some things from using the game, but other things I can not read. When you click on start standard league and that page comes up...at the very top under start 2004 career league, the paragraph under that, I can not read. How can I fix this problem.

Go into the “game”(OOTP, ITP, etc) folder and open the "game config" file, toggle the 3d setting, close those things and try the game again.

If that doesn't solve it, go to start then run and type dxdiag and hit enter. The direct X utility will open and it will let you know what version of direct X you are have installed. If it is less than v9 go to http://www.microsoft.com download and install v9, reboot your computer and then try the game again.

One of these two things should get things going. Please let me know if you are still having problems after trying both of these.

Hey Steve,

Still having problems. I did everything you told me and I even uninstalled the game and installed it again, same thing. Do you have any other ideas.

What resolution are you playing on? OOTP needs to be played in 1024x768. That might be what the problem is, other than that I don't have much to give to you.
