Microsoft C++ Runtime Library\Runtime Error!

The game crashes on me every time I try to import a league. It makes it to the B or C players and then crashes (once in crashed on Bellhorn, once on Backe, and another time where it got well into the C-range).

I've tried both Lahman and Ankit, so it can't be the database.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game about 7 times now.

In game sound is off.

I'm running Windows XP with a 1000Mhz processor, 64 MB video card and 512 MB of memory.

HELP ME!

Have you tried installing the game in a different directory?

Didn't help

Now it crashes every 5 minutes no matter what I'm doing in the game.

When I installed it in the directory, the program came up, and it had the Border that the game usually has, but the rest of the screen was black.

The only thing that I can figure is that is has to be something specfic to your system as the general configuration is similar to many, many folks who have had zero problems.

System mechanic was sucking up my CPU, that's OOTP's job!
