Ping: Roster Creators!
I'm in the process of making my own roster set (it happens to be of NFL players...I have a whole formula set up...I'm such a nerd). I was wondering if you had any tips to make the process less laborious. When you're making a roster set of current players, do you fill minors and just edit to your heart's content the players that the game created? Do you create a fictional character for everyone?
When you're doing ratings, what do you use to formulate stats into ratings? Did I miss a memo? Not that my set would have much use in that, but still, curiousity killed the cat, you know. It just seems that it's taking a while to do this. That's probably because I'm impatient and/or have OCD. If anyone has anything they'd like to chime in with, please do. I'll take any hints/help I can get. |

there is no such way to make roster creation easy. now some people that i have heard of take an existing roster set and create players and edit them. i started from scratch and created each and every player in my set. you might want to check out the thread entitled "philosophy of a roster" in these forums. and to give you an idea, it took me over 2 years to "finish" my set so it will take you a while lol
