OOTP Logo Contest Week 2 - Poll 1
Hello everyone. Here is the Week 2 Poll in the contest. This week the designers created a logo for the San Antonio Tejanos. We had an excellent turnout, netting 19 logos total.
We are going to do something a little different due to the number of entries. We will do the voting in two rounds. The first round will consist of two separate polls of 9 or 10 logos. Vote for your favorite logo in each poll. The polls will run for 1 day. Tomorrow morning, I will take the top 5-10 logos from the first round and create a new poll with the finalists. That poll will run for two days. Don't forget to vote in BOTH polls! Link to Poll 2. Now, on to the entries for the first poll:

Logo #8 rocks big time. Others are good too, though.

I am going to go with Number 2. I think I know who did number 8.

6 and 8 are cool, but 2 is my fave.
Btw, this layout where you can see them all side by side is much better!

I was a little worried when I had to reduce the quality to low when saving the jpg in order to get under the 100k size limit, but they still look really good!

Wow! Another great week of entry's. You can see that a lot of people are using similar styles week to week. It should make for a couple of distinctive sets at the end of all this.

All good. I went with number 9, because I like circular designs and I like the relative simplicity of it.

Two and eight are great.
Went with two, since the colors make me think of S.A.

![]() Hell, I had to have LGO explain how his darn template worked! Like I told him, it's sad that my company paid for Photoshop for me when all I use it for is to resize graphics to place into Pagemaker. I am having a blast with the whole contest thing though. I feel like I'm actually making myself useful to the community for a change.

I liked 2, 8, and 9. I went with 9 because of the simplicity and the colors seemed to capture the feel better for me.

Boy, you guys are all really, really talented and creative.
This is a great project...what a set of logos this is gonna be. My highest compliments to the all designers. To jnshmoo for doing a simply perfect job on the poll. A very special thanks to BigCity and JoeRock for sharing their great sites with us to post this fine project. And to my "no longer anonymous" and extremely fine committee members that help select the cities and nicknames...knuckler and DreamTeams. The easy part is now over...designing and creating the logos...now the talented and skilled critics have to do the tough and challenging work of choosing just one of these. ![]() It was a tough job...but somebody has to do it. 2,5,6, 8, and 9 are excellent....I chose 9...it has the feel of the sun and climate (I spent a very long August to October at Lackland AFB in 1958)...and it will really show up well in the game...which is a must for me. Very nice stuff. I showed these to the wife who happened to be hovering nearby and she was blown away by the amateur talent we have here.

BTW, was it ever revealed who the designers of last week's logos were?
