Anyone else have this happen?
I just started a historical league. I played the first series of the year with no problems. I enabled the sound for the fourth game of the year. I had just finished my fourth game and before it could compile the stats for the game it crashed. I restarted the game and looking at the day four schedule my game had been recorded but none of the player stats were recorded and the record for both teams were not updated. When I look at the schedule for game five the same starters are scheduled to start. Has this happened to anyone else? I am not that worried about it since it is just one game. I think I will disable the sound option for starters. Of course I won the game that was not recorded. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

Yep, quite a few...
The installation of XP SP-2 is the issue, OOTP and other programs are currently not compatible with SP-2. This is a known issue, though at this time I do not know of a timetable for it to be resolved. You maybe able to uninstall the software, I’d try an internet search if that is desired. Or disable the sound again.

Is this going to cause me a problem at the end of the season? What I mean is at the end of the season when I should have played 163 games and I only have 162 recorded is it going to allow me to continue? Lets say I win the division by 5 games. Is it going to continue to the playoffs with me only playing 162 games, or will it recognize that having played one less game won't make a difference in the standings and continue?

I'm not certain since I've never had it happen but I believe that the only issue is that the stats will be off, the game will "think" that the season is over.

Thanks Steve. I will post an answer to that when I get that far.
