need some help

I am new to the game and have downloaded and loaded acouple different roster sets, when I got to start a season everything works fine except I want to have contracts and things of that nature, but the game wont let me enable the financial system is this just because of the leauge that they have created or is there something I can do to enable the system

Don't begin the game in MANAGER MODE.

Or use the MM utility in the mods forum to change this.
