Problems with changing TV deals?

Has anyone else noticed a problem when changing the TV deal for a team? We noticed in the ATHL that some teams weren't getting the same revenue as with version 5, so we've decided to expire all the local and national TV deals as of the end of the season and let version 6 sort things out going forward. At the end of the season, but before moving to the next season, I went through and set all the contracts to expire in the current season (entered 0 for years left on the contract). That seemed to work, and when I rolled the season to 2010, everything looked good. However, the expiration date still shows as 2009. I've simmed through the entire 2010 season, and still, it shows as 2009. I'm concerned that the contracts will never change now. Has anyone else seen this? Is this a bug? Any suggestions? I don't want to go back in an manually edit them all again for fear that they won't change later. Thoughts?

Thanks!

For whatever reason TV deals expire at the beginning of the year shown. If you had set the expiration dates at 2009 during the 2009 season, you had already missed the point where the contract would run out. So if you want a TV deal to finish at the end of 2009, you would set the expiration date as 2010. As soon as you rolled over to 2010 after hitting the "Proceed to next season" button at the end of 2009 the new contracts would be created by the game.

Can I mention again how lame it is to have a "contract" in the game that works nothing like every other contract?
