Another SSBL request

hello gents (and ladies if there are any)

Im looking for someone who will modify an existing pic a bit. The team is the Brunei Bersilat. Bersilat is a martial arts form originating in Malaysia. It is a fluid, quick contact, defensive form with very little emphasis on power or aggression. The national flag of Brunei is dominated by black and bright nextel yellow. Id like to have the center of the logo changed from a white background to a bright saturated yellow and then have the blue border removed. 'Brunei' arcing across the top inside of the circle and 'Bersilat' arcing across the inside bottom. The font is up to you, but should follow the general theme of fluidity (ie. nothing 'blocky'). The black square can be removed to leave a circular logo, but doesnt have to be. any questions please ask and creative license is granted (if you think something needs to be changed, feel free).

i like the one with the black square better, but can i see the top one with a black border?

the font is a little too 'blocky'. im picturing super fluid like ripples on a pond. fluid, flowing weeping willow style. graceful. maybe even handwriting style with the letters connecting. not a pure cursive script, but along those lines. ive been digging around websites looking for something, but no luck yet. if i can find something i'll link it.

anyone got suggestions?

I would try it in an Asian style. Sharp and jagged

Fixed the circle, and added a cursive type font. The trouble for me, and I'm sure the better guys could do much better with it, is that cursive doesn't show up as well for me, especially arched. Best i could do:

i was orignally thinking that too, but the fighting style is graceful and flowing (similar to the shaolin monks

) and my team has the negative power modifier. positive defensive modifier, quick, contact team with pitchers who are control specialists. so i kinda wanted to keep the theme going. maybe im wrong. what do others think?

i see what you mean. i like this better, but im not sure if i like the 'hard to read' aspect. it has a pacific islander feel to it that i like.

which one do you like? do you like the circle with border or the square black background better?

or maybe an arabic style of font? it is a muslim nation and their martial arts have a huge spirituality factor in them.

I'm not sure that font will show up well arched in a circle at 150 x 150; I don't mind trying but I don't have a lot of luck generally with fonts like this at that size.
