Rescheduling Issue

I run an OOTP5 online league and we recently removed 4 teams from the league. This necessitated producing a new schedule. I did this before the Free Agent period. It is becoming apparent I should have done this before proceeding to the next season. I made opening Day April 4. When free agents started signing, Day 1 was suddenly April 4th and now FAs are signing on days when games are supposed to be played. Is there a way to roll back the date after spring training? Otherwise I will have to shift the season to a Mid-May start.

There may not be a way to roll back now but, in the future, I suggest you copy your league file and save it in another folder somewhere as a backup. Do so after every sim and period you run. Date and time the folders they are in so if you every run into a situation where you mistakenly do something you didn't mean to do, you'll be able to just move your backup league file into your game and start over from before the mistake was made.

I always delete the old backups and only keep the most recent 3.

Sorry this may not help you now, but maybe you can use this in the future.

For anybody who runs into the same problem:

At the end of spring training it will be June.
Go to the schedule editor. Type in your start and All-star dates. Generate a schedule. It may override you and start the schedule in June and end it in December. Just repeat the process and the league date will return to the date you chose (I used 04/04) and you'll be all set. Your offseason acquisitions won't be affected.
