The Munson-Nixon Line

Gents:

I am putting together a league newsletter and I am seeking your creative talents for a banner or logo to use as a header. The newsletter will be called "The Munson-Nixon Line" and will provide information about our league and occasional references about the real Sox-Yankees rivalry. Our league is made up of members originally from the NY-New England area and most are either Red Sox or Yankee fans. The Munson-Nixon Line refers to former Yankee great Thurman Munson and current Sox fan favorite Trot Nixon. Of course, the name also plays on the historic Mason-Dixon geographic boundary.

In advance, I appreciate your creativity and efforts.

Hi,

i could give it a try

Just let me know which size you need the Banner, and if you have other wishes.

regards Pepe

Thank you for putting in the time & effort! 200 x 800 should work...I can always resize later if I necessary. I've seen some of your prior work...awesome stuff...so I trust your creativity.

Thanks again!

The size should be 800*200, right? Or 200*800 like you said in your Post?

Just to know it

Sorry - 800 x 200...must be dislexia or just plain ignorance on my part.

I agree with knuckler - it is outstanding! I wish I had your talent for this type of art so that I could make a contribution to the OOTP community. I dabble with paint and paint shop but can't touch what guys like you and knuckler are doing. Your stuff makes the OOTP environment that much more enjoyable.

At the risk of sounding ungrateful, is there any chance you could move the player photos more into the background and make the title stand-out more (brighter) like your terrific Red Sox banner? It may add to the mystique (given that poor Munson is deceased) if the photos are faded to the background more.

From a very grateful,

pepeda/Cooley

I love them both - I can't decide - better yet - I won't decide - I will work both of them in.

Many thanks for the great support!

I'm not sure how to repay you other than wishing you both 5 gold star - hall-of-fame careers!

Another extremely fine pepeda production....the darker lettering colors really improved it.
