FIBB (real player league ;) ) has an opening

The FIBB started with the 2003 MLB players (rocco roster set) which we drafted into 24 new teams around the Earth in baseball hotspots. We are now finishing the 2010 season. Many of today's young MLB'ers are legitimate stars in the FIBB. Also, many of today's older MLB'ers have retired and fallen by the way side. The FIBB now has 30 teams in place. We use the full slate of OOTP6's roster management features (Waivers, Rule 5, etc.) and offer a lot of goodies like Create-a-Local-Hero, enhanced played development and team financial pages, player pictures, an active Hall of Fame process, a forum arcade! The owners of the FIBB really make it IMO the best online sports league out there that I have been a part of. It's as much a community as a baseball league.

The Port-au-Prince Liberators need a new owner. They were a 2007 expansion team that has built a nice farm and has this likely Rookie of the Year, but not much else in the bigs. They need someone who is willing to really grow them into a competitive big-league team. The process can be painful, but also extremely rewarding upon completion.

The FIBB is an extremely active baseball league that does require writing from it's members. This keeps the messageboard very active and nearly always something new to read. While the writing requirements are not severe, it is not for everyone. You earn Participation Points with your writing and can cash those Points in for some cool Rewards. We do require ownership of OOTP6. Previous online experience is not required, but knowledge of OOTP is preferred.

If interested, PM me and we will discuss further. Feel free to register for the FIBB Forums as well.

Thanks,
Joel

As a former rebuilder whose team has won 88+ games in three straight seasons now, I can vouch for the satisfaction that comes from a successful rebuild.

The Libs have a decent farm and some good young talent. They'll take work, and you're in a tough division, but it's a GREAT league with loads of active, fun owners. Give it a try!
