Request: Orlando Tourists
Hi all,
Looking for a logo for my U.S. Baseball Alliance's Orlando Tourists. The logo now is neat, a bunch of tourist looking people and all, but I'm realizing it's a logo I could never envision on a hat or uniform. So I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone turns up anything. Thanks in advance. GH |

I posted that because I just think it is hard to get a tourist logo. I could never see that suitecase on a Uniform or hat either. But I do think that something like just the words would be good like below. Do you agree?

True enough...I'm starting to just think the Tourists may have been a bad name (or at least bad luck, given their performance!).
But figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone could come up with anything. Something like the Asheville logo isn't bad and might have to do. I mean, can you picture your guy Roy Hobbs wearing that suitcase on his uniform ![]() GH |

Give the creative geniuses here a day or two and they will come up with something.
One of the best "impossible to create" logos I have seen here was for a team named, I think, "Explosion". I thought to myself when I read it, that there was no way they could do a good one that would express that idea. Well, as oft I am, I was wrong. Someone created a pair of empty boots with smoke and debris emanating from them. It really was brilliant. |

What about a baseball with a cap and sunglasses on it and sitting in a deck chair on the beach under a palm tree with the blue/green water and an orange/yellow sun going down.
This sounds like a job for LivnLegend or Treches...maybe we can get them to come out of retirement...But not to worry, SuperLogoMen, FastLane and knuckler, will come to the rescue and save the day. Forget it...I don't think it will fit on a uniform, much less on a cap. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-29-2004 at 09:26 AM. |

I took Eugene's idea and ran with it. One of the guys that creates them from scratch could probably do a better job, but here goes:

That's a pretty good one! You forgot the deck chair though!

Yeah, knuckler...if you are going to use my great ideas...please don't leave anything out.
Just kidding...actually that is a superb logo...considering what you had to do.
