Creating players

Is there anyway to create a player for a custom league? Any utility that will do it?

If you're on a team's page, and you select "Transactions" from the drop-down menu, there's a button at the top that says "Create fictional Player". Don't know if that's what you meant, or not.

You can also create a player on the Free Agent page...see "Create Player" at the top.

Question on that. Do both locations work the same way, i.e. giving you the option to create the player for the FA pool or for the amateur draft (IIRC)? Seems I created one last season that didn't surface until this year's FA pool. Are any created immediately for access?

If you create the player from the Team page, the player is assigned to that team's AAA roster. I don't know what happens when you create a player from the Free Agent page.

You will be asked if he'll be included in the next draft class, if you choose no, he'll be a normal free agent sitting in the FA pool.
