Scoreboard not displaying

Just recently, when I've started a new game, everything runs fine except for nothing shows on the scoreboard at the top of the screen. There are just empty boxes, making it impossible to know the score. I made no changes that could have caused this, and reinstalling gives me the same result. Any ideas?

A wild guess here, but could this be a font issue? In this thread:

trying to change the scoreboard font apparently blanked out the scoreboard for someone.

Seems weird a reinstall would not fix it, but could it be something on the users computer missing causing the problem in the game?

^^^Just tossing out ideas.
