Catobase: invalid use of null
Before going to bed last night, I set Catobase to output HTML. When I got up this morning, much to my dismay, there was an error message. I can't remember the exact phrasing, but it was something along the lines of "Error 94 Invalid use of null". It happened as it was calculating Win Shares.
Fortunately, when I clicked OK, it kept going (and is probably still going as I type this from work). I've had this error before, and it has resulted in messed up Win Shares calculations. I guess that means I just won't have reliable Win Shares calculations anymore for this league, which is a real shame. Has anyone else had this happen before? If so, did you find out what the problem was and figure out how to fix it?

Check pitching IP for 0 IP but earned runs being more than 0. This would cause the problem....

So if there was a pitcher who gave up earned runs without pitching any innings for the season, it would cause this error? I'll have to look and see if I can find a guy for whom that happened.

Did you have to change it in Access? I don't have Access on the same computer I play OOTP on.

You could change it in the CSVs that should be saved in a 'data' folder next to your 'website' folder... I would think.

I usually change it in access but it can be done in the CSV's just as well and if you ever need to rebuild all the data it will be in the CSV's... |

The only times I got the Error 94, it was because I had deleted the managers and one franchise's city from within the Catobase software, hence the invalid use of null. So, perhaps you have a blank spot somewhere...
