Free Agency Problems

3 different leagues I have been involved in this past offseason have had enormous problems in FA. Everyone has the latest patch.

After the season is cycled, old team news and transactions are still showing. I have seen this in my own leagues at times as well.

We continue into FA and everything goes smooth for the first few sims. Then all of a sudden, mysterious offers from previous years start showing up. It seems to be guys who signed 1 or 2 year deals that are no longer on a team. It usually involves late 30s vets who are originally signed by a team in the offseason to fill a role until a better solution presents itself through the minors. They cut the guy in say July and he goes unsigned. Three sims into FA there is his offer the next spring and the team is on the hook again.

These are well respected leagues some of which I have been in since 4, and the Commish's have their stuff together. I believe them that they are clearing out the old files off of the server, etc. (I have hidden my usual signature to protect some of the innocent). Anyone see this, or we all just crazy?

PS- The Team news and transaction lists usually disappear after the 1 or 2nd sim as well. So once the new signings and retirings kick in, it switches over to the next year.
