Rosters Modders
To rosters modders when you make a league like let say 1992 can please have the minor league teams minor leaguers from that year on their apporate minor league team because 2004 rosters do because then it would make the years from past more interstring and won't need fake minor leaguers!

I have made numerous league files and I would suggest setting your injury % to low or very low for a season or two when you start and you should be ok with having enough players. After that you should be able to put it back to normal and have some solid depth. It may not be perfect but this is the best way to handle the "minor league issue" within the framework of OOTP and the player databases. Have fun! You can create them in free-agent market or probley in the editor but that would take a lot of people to do or in the next version of Laheman's Database he could include the minor league teams not to be empty but have the apporiate players and pitchers on them from that year
If you were creating 2003 Marlins most of their minor league players and pitchers are in Halofan rosters |

It's an interesting dilemma - with my '69 file, I was going to include a bunch of minor leaguers from the time. My idea was to use the file as a jumping-off point into a fictional league - that is why I did proper splits etc.
Of course, while that is what I wanted, I thought it would be most useful for the community if I just left it as a 'original', so that people could make the choice themselves. Moreover, minor league data is exceptionally difficult to get your hands on, at least complete with splits and park factors (and other things I like) without going through ELIAS for anything a reasonable time ago. |
