Just want to give everyone a heads up. For the people that use and like my roster set, this info may be handy and for those of you that dont use it or like it then you are wasting your time by reading this

Ok, I am just about finished with the player moves as i got backlogged with family events and illness, my internet taking a dump on me for 2 days, finals for school and an internal error on the game (since been fixed) so i had to pick up from where i left off. I have some scouting reports from the AFL and a handful of winter leagues. I received these from major league and minor league scouts that i know and from some players that i talk to so i will be implementing SOME (not all) of them into the ratings updates for some of the players. I have updated ALL the history and awards as well. Now here is the *burp*. A few players will be listed as retired although they are in the game still. This was the downfall to updating my roster set after the 2004 season to reflect the 2005 season. I never realized that over 3000 people (unique downloads) would be using this set so i never realized that it was going to be desired after this season. Guess i should have planned better, huh? The other "issue", The stats for 2004 WILL NOT be correct, BUT they should be done shortly after i put the roster set up. Possibly 3-4 days after, so im not sure if anyone wants to download the new one or if they want to wait a tad longer and get the FULL update with 2004 stats in it as well. As most of you know, i have logos, player photos, player histories and league histories available for this set. Well i am undertaking a new project, I will be adding EVERY minor league stat available for all the players in this roster set. This was my most common request from users. I am more than happy to TRY and accomodate people's requests so if anyone has any, let me know. I can be reached just about anywhere.

Also, Simleaguecentral will be undergoing a download binge as i am going to be adding a TON of other 3rd party downloads. Soon, we will be adding game write ups as well based on real people and not magazine articles. Just another bit of info i thought you guys may like.

On a side note, i am undertaking a seperate project with some friends of mine. The site is called Rotoamerica and it will be going public in late January. This site will be nothing but an info filled sports page where you will be able to get any and everything having to do with sports so feel free to head over there in January

i think it best you release FULL update with 2004 stats in it. i think we can wait a tad longer for it...

no need to release it without the correct 2004 stats, i think it will confuse people..

also i think you should wait longer because there alot of free agent signing happening now


which players wont be in the game because they retire in the game?

well the plan initially was to update the set everyweek and a half to reflect these signings/trades so hopefully i can revert BACK to that plan

Hey Halo, would it be possible for you to release a version of your Roster set that has the actual 2004 stats, starts in the offseason before 2005, but doesn't include any roster moves since the end of the season? So basically we could play out this offseason from scratch. That would be really awesome, IMHO.

actually i am going to be releasing at least 2 sets.....one will be a roster set that is up to date and current, the other one will be the roster set at the start of the 2005 season with the league starting at the free agent period (i think the league date is Jan. 29th) and then shortly after that i will release the same roster sets with the correct 2004 stats in them, so a total of 4 sets within a 3-5 day period and all of this will be done way before x-mas because of my vacation

are you being serious? hopefully not. these things take time and dont forget i have "other things" going on that i need to attend to but i work on it as much as possible

actually yeah, i really need your rosters to play my new dynasty... Until then, I just well stare into space hopeing for something to catch my eye.... Christmas break, what can I say, I'm bored. Are you close to the FA ready file that has not done the transactions yet? That one should take less time and I"d probably prefer it myself, Just curious.

the main file is almost done, just fixing some finacial things, the FA file is the next project however that wont take no time at all to do. and then the next file (probably the night before i go on vacation, it will be done) will have the correct 2004 stats in it as that is what is taking the most time also

well ill go ahead and post this here. The update WILL be released tomorrow afternoon (not sure of the time, but in the afternoon and before the evening). i will post a thread on here and on my main site about the release of it. Now i am releasing JUST the core of the set, the stats i am still doing and will take me another day or so, maybe 2. I am also going to be releasing a set that has all the FA from this offseason and the league date will be in January so you can run FA's 30 day period however you want. if you dont want the 30 day period, sim through it. The FINAL completed set (with stats) will hopefully be done by Monday but i am shooting for Sunday. hopefully this will answer all questions regarding the "when" factor of the release. any questions and i can be reached on email at duckfart76@simleaguecentral.com
