White River White Sox logo needed
Would appreciate a WHITE RIVER WHITE SOX logo.
knuckler: you just did a great Black Sox...could you revise it? That sock image is excellent. Just use black and white colors...more white with just a little black if possible. A font similar to the Chicago White Sox would be great, too. A black border would be nice. Please make sure the black is the right setting to avoid it getting spotty and blotchy on game screens. If another designer wants to create their own version, this would be fine, too. You do not have to use knuckler sock, if the spirit moves you in another direction. Another original would be great. Please make White River and White Sox as large as knuckler's lettering. I posted knuckler's original. Also like the font of the Chicago White Sox. It only has "SOX"...if possible add "WHITE" to it. WHITE RIVER could be in another font, so "WHITE SOX" would stand out. No rush...Please do the other logo requests that are already posted before mine. I already have a fine White River White Sox...just want to see what the current crop of designers can come up with. Thanks for helping out. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-23-2005 at 02:18 PM. |

I figured it is much easier to practice my skills while doing (at least trying) logos for others.
Here is what I had in mind for the River White White Sox, so you are my first victim of my logos Eugene Church .

Skywalker, that is really great. I am honored to be your "first victim"
That is a darn good logo. You know I'm telling you the truth because I haven't asked for a revision or change. It is a keeper...it will go into my logo stash...I will install it today and use it. (However, if I happen to get a better one, my loyalty to you will be short-lived).

Thanks for your comments Eugene Church. I really appreciate them. It's been three days now I've been fighting with my graphic programm and I know my logos aren't perfect. Like I said in the other thread it can only help me if experts like you tell me what to change or what to do better.
So far enough logo making for today. But I'll come back tomorrow

Being real picky, IMO the light gray background is not consistent over the entire logo. You may have done it intentionally as I see designers make one half darker than the other half. I just prefer it to be the same throughout.
PLEASE DO NOT GO BACK AND REVISE IT...IT IS FINE AS IT IS. 3 hours is enough. |

I cleaned it up for Eugene, and added some space between White Sox and White River. I have two options for you, you know best what will show up in the game. Also, I can edit it more to your tastes. Let me know.

I think both of them are excellent...I like the first one because it has more white on it.
You are one fine person to go to all this trouble. I don't know any way I can repay your generosity, but let me know if I can help you any way related to the game...which you probably know much better than me. Thank you very much. |
