GBPA Needs You!

The Global Baseball Players Association is a players league, ran by Steve Thiele, which uses OOTP6. We have recently finished season one, and we are now in the off-season. We plan on ending the off-season on December 2nd, and the league as a whole would like to see some new blood in the league. We are trying very hard to recruit, and to push the computer players out the door.

The GBPA has a great players union, ran by a top notch rep. The players are constantly pursuing new rights, and are constantly getting new rights. The players are the foundation of this league, and the GMs realize that, and they try to work with the players on many issues/proposals.

The GMs in this league are fantastic. We went through a few GMs in season 1, but we have found a good core of GMs, who are active, and always looking for ways to improve their teams.

The players in our league are very friendly, and the league has a friendly atmosphere. We do a lot of joking around, and everyone gets along great.

Lastly, the GBPA offers many business oppurtunities. We have a Casino, Rehab Center, and offer equipment that can be used to improve your player. If you do not have a money, then stop by the GBPA Bank, and take out a loan.

Spring Training will be held on Monday night. Sign up, and join in on the fun while you have the chance!

Correct. As stated in my original post, the Global Baseball Players Association uses OOTP6.

However, to be a player in this league, OOTP6 is not required. OOTP6 is only required for the GMs.

Spring Training is over. The regular season starts on Thursday!

Make sure to join up, and help continue the growth of the GBPA.

Change in plans..The regular season will begin this Monday. We were ahead of schedule, and decided to give the free agents some more time to sign up.

We still need plenty of players, and encourage everyone to sign up, and create a player. While good activity is pushed, I do not demand it. All I ask is that you check the boards, and if possible, post every now and then. Player leagues are not time consuming, and are enjoyable.
