Post Career leader board idea?

Would it be all that hard for me to edit the retired players to make a more accurate career leader board?I can change names but how would I be able to change the stats?Who would support this and actually like to help?

Not Really Fred Durst

Sorry to drag this back up, but I wholeheartedly agree that this would be great.

You can't really edit the stats until Pierre's editor comes out in a few months, then you should be able to.

Just import all the career league leaders. Thats whats I did, and itd be much simpler than typing in EVERY SINGLE stat with Pierre's Editor.

My Career Leaderboard reflects the real life one(well, not so much so any longer, as it is 2016, and lots of HR hitters are on the list that werent there before)

I just finished doing this myself and I have the file available to send to a website for download. I just need to know WHERE to send it. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Okay... stupid question of the day. I've been messing around with the 1906 Career league I'm starting(took me a long time to get all the ballparks and logos- Pilgrims, Naps, and Senators, oh my!- set up, but it's worth it), but now that I've tried to import some players in my league that's currently in 2005, I feel confuddled and befused. If I were trying to import, say, Babe Ruth, how would I go about finding his Player ID?

to find player ID, look in the master.csv file and find the player that you want. His ID is the column at the far left. I believe Babe's is Ruthba01

Instead of opening that big CSV(long time to load), just go to baseballreference, and find his name. His HTML tag(ruthba01.html) is his ID. Normally it is 5 letters last name, 2 letters first name, then if thats the only abbreviation like that in history, its 01.. if there are five guys named John Smith of all time, then it might be like SmithJo04 or something. its relatively easy to guess what everyone's is.
