Can't Play Games?

Hi... I'm having a strange problem upon installing the game on my computer... I can sim games fine, but if I try to actually manage a game, I get a runtime error as soon as the game is finished (as the file is auto-saving). This happens will all sorts of leagues: downloaded rosters, pure fictional leagues, and historical imports... Any ideas?

I'm also getting a similiar kind of problem, where I can sim games fine, but when I try and play them I get "OOTP has performed and illegal operation and will be shut down". It used to be solveable by simply reinstalling the patch and I'd be good to go for a month or so of the season.. but now it crashes constantly, leaving me to simulate every single game... and I have the In Game sound disabled.

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game and see if that helps.

Should I write down my ID number (the one displayed as the league loads), or do I not need that?

To be on the safe side I would but probably ok w/o it.

I have the same problem and I've re-installed 3 times now. It happens with any league I try to run, including the default.

I should add, that this is a recent development. Never had a problem until the past couple of weeks.

Did you install ANY software OR updates(windows included)?
