New OOTP6 League

Was sitting around the other day and a great idea popped into my head. I decided I wanted to start a new league, not neccesarily run one, but if nobody else is interested, I would be willing. Here are the ideas I had for the new league....

- Starts in 1980 In Modern Era
- Each Owner Owns A Team From Their Hometown (Where They Grew Up, Or If That Teams Taken Then Where They Live Now)
- Fictional Players
- Ramdomly Generated Franchises And Players And Auto Simmed Fantasy Draft
- 2 Leagues
- 3 Divisions Per League
- 1-20 Ability Rating Scale
- 1-10 Talent Level Scale
- 1-100 Everything Else Scale
- No Coaches And Scouts
- Will Sim Minors
- 7/7/7 Playoff Structure
- 100 mil cap
- 25 mil cash max
- 40 man rosters enabled
- waivers will be done via forums
- Rule 5 draft enabled
- Ratings will be 100% determined by Ratings, not previous seasons (helps avoid ability confusion for newbs)
- Player development will be bumped a bit (I would like to find out what we use here)
- Injuries Enabled
- Pre-Season Draft Will be done via forums
- 10 rounds for draft
- League will run the league, not the commish (commish will just sim and put transactions through
- all changes will be voted on.
- Writing league which willl have participation point minimums

(And in case any of you still have the verdict out on me and my trust, I wont have the commish password, I will design the site and be on the board, thats the end of my role in the league.

So who is interested???

P.S. My reason for the Cubbies is I once visited Chicago lol.

So you are interested in a team?

For everyone including you UK, please state what city your team would be from, what your name and email address are, and that you have OOTP6. Thanks much!

The MBBA is not affiliated with this new league. Well other than this new league is based strongly on the MBBA and even directly links to our Constitution without our permission.

Oh, KMaster6 is also MFitterer.

You are correct Joel, I thought since I asked Travis to use it in a previous league, that it would be ok to set a basis for things now. Guess not, if it matters, I will unlink it.

And yes, you are correct, this is Fitterer, glad you felt like flaming me.

I just pointed out who you were. Others can research if they choose and draw their own conclusions. You hide behind an alias and directly link to the MBBA without the permission of the MBBA Gov Board. I have nothing more to add other than to request that you do indeed remove the URL link and all reference to the MBBA in your initial post.

why is it that a known cheater is allowed to continue to use this forum to lure unsuspecting noobs to his leagues?

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

I think it's because he didn't insult HWSNBN.

Please folks don't be fooled like I was.

I joined Fitt's league..Real Beisbol, despite all the warnings I received against it.

In the end, when he was called out on his BS, we institued a new commish without anything being ran past Fit. Of course, just as that was about to get off the ground, the league folded and the website no longer worked. The new commish tried to keep the league going, but just couldnt.

Here Fitt was to be in charge without any responsibility, but just design the website? Why doesnt he offer services in tons of other leagues to do so? Im not making assumptions, but if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, I highly doubt its chicken.

The last league folded because I didnt have the $$$ to pay the hosting fee any longer. This league will be run from a ootp league server if we can get the proper id's...

And I dont offer services to other leagues, because I wanted to institue the ideas I thought of, mainly the hometown team idea, I really like that. And also, nobody has asked for any help with a league.

I think that's what we are trying to point out. Why should we assume anything about you has changed?
