Help I'm not to smart!

I purchased ootp3 for the 2nd time,i've got windows xp.I downloaded the Lahmans database,unzipped to the file c:/stats.I then go to ootp3 pull up create a league,historic,but when i import it says can't create folder.What am i doing wrong,oh yes i have unzipped the database to c:/stats.

I think/hope I know what happened - try typing in the path to the Lahman file as this:
c:\stats

The backslash/forwardslash difference is huge - good luck

Thanks for your reply Killer,but still no folder.I created a seperate folder for stats,its not inside ootp3,would that matter!

Do you have the correct version of the database(the generic one) and not the access one?

No, that wouldn't matter as long as you type in the path correctly. The next thing I'd check is to make sure you downloaded the correct Lahman files - there used to be 2 versions and OOTP uses the CSV version. Make sure you have the Generic (comma-delimited) version (3.77 mb) found <a href="http://www.baseball1.com/new_db/lahman_gv_40.zip" target="_blank">here</a>.

Your description of what you have done sounds correct otherwise. Let us know if this solves the problem.
