Any help would be appreciated, I'm just about ready to kick Catobase to the curb - and I'd really hate to do that.
I have tried 25 or 30 different leagues, historical and fictional, custom layouts and default, but get stuck at the same point every time. My first season always imports fine and the html creates without an issue. In season 2 or 3, during the import process, I will get a "Type Mismatch" at the same point, "Reading LTRANS". After clicking "OK", it brings up a window stating "These team abbreviations are new from last year. However, they existed in previous years..." It always shows every team in my league. After clicking "exit", it allows me to edit my teams, but since everything is exactly the same as season 1, I just leave it alone. I then click Exit and it finishes the import process. I then try to "Create HTML", but always receive the same error, "Error 3021: Either BOF or EOF is true, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record." This occurs during the "Team Summary, Positional Charts" process. At that point, the program hangs and the only way to get out is to alt-ctl-del and kill the process. Now, this always happens in either my second or third season after creating the league and I never change the league configuration, team names or nicknames, or abbreviations after creating the league. I make sure all teams have a 3 digit abbreviation as well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Catobase, but with the same results. Prior to updating OOTP to 6.10, I used Catobase 6.1.4 without any significant problems. Now, I'm just stuck. If anyone has any ideas what to look for, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. I was having the same problem with the 'ltrans' file too. The suggestions in this thread have worked for me and now Catobase runs without a hitch.

Thanks for the reply Blueturf, but I had already tried that with no success. For whatever reason, the "=r" item seems to not be a problem for me (this was addressed in the 6.1.3 patch, so I'm not sure how it got broken again). Anyway, it would appear that my issue is specifically tied to team name/abbreviations.
Thanks. Anyone else??? |

I've had that same issue, too. I posted here about it but wasn't detailed enough in my description to get any real help.
