Does anyone have a source that lists who might be eligible for FA this year? Sorry for looking ahead already, but I know Steinbrenner is going to be active. I would like to know who's available.

Yes, Yhency Brazoban was throwing 98 mph this week. "I'd take him over (Guillermo) Mota," one GM said. Brazoban was a throw-in from the Yankees in the Jeff Weaver-Kevin Brown deal, and Joaquin Arias -- considered a top shortstop prospect -- was thrown into the Alex Rodriguez-Alfonso Soriano trade.

I feel like I'm back in the 80s again *sigh*

Would be very surprised if the Cards don't re-sign Renteria. They're already saying it's their first priority.

Their only other free agent of note is Matt Morris, and I'll bet they re-sign him since they still like his stuff, and his performance over the last couple years will make it so that he doesn't get much of a raise, if any.

Because it's funny! Well, it used to be anyway. Any good comedian knows though that repitition is funny. Any comedian worth his salt knows he has to repeat something over and over for it to be funny. Their only other free agent of note is Matt Morris, and I'll bet they re-sign him since they still like his stuff, and his performance over the last couple years will make it so that he doesn't get much of a raise, if any.
